Echoes of suffering and the burden of the soul. When it comes to our life experiences good and bad, it is a legacy we take with us for the rest of our lives. Unlike a legacy after a death, you can’t sort from the part you don’t want. It's all no matter what, until death or oblivion sets in. When it comes to adversity and suffering, a great ability is to live life despite what weighs on you.

I have been sewing with needle and thread since the day I could thread a needle. During the last few years it has turned into my primary hobby. Everything i make, has been made from scratch, I am the one who designs and makes it, but that said I am often inspired by others and my surroundings.

I have become incredibly inspired by the knitting loom. In principle it is fast and easy to use, but you can also make things with difficult patterns and techniques on it. Especially when you use several techniques in unison. It feels in many ways like weaving and knitting at the same time. I learned to do it by looking in a children's textile hobby book. The things I have made, are not made to be beautiful, but in an attempt to learn new methods and enjoy all aspects of making.

A large work that takes up about 1 1⁄2 meters x 1 meter, consisting of tiny little blue squares with white in the middle. This is my response to, among other things, financial crises and economic inequality. Blue is a colour often used in business e.g. in the term "blue collar worker". The squares should also symbolize being angular as in the term "tipped elbows" or square, as in the term "don't be such a square." The chaotic pattern should express the chaos that arises in crises. The white is hope, freedom and catharsis after the crisis.
